GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY HELD FOR INTERCHANGE BUSINESS PARK IN CROSSVILLE

The Crossville City Council, Cumberland County Mayor Kenneth Carey, Jr., along with county and state dignitaries, held a ground breaking ceremony just before noon today for the Interchange Business Park. The 90-acre park is located just north of Interstate 40 off Highway 127. Crossville Mayor James Mayberry told 105.7 News the goal of the project is to develop more and better-paying jobs for the community. Mayor Mayberry said the park will soon have new jobs to offer the city’s younger generation of citizens, so they may remain in Crossville and work. State Representative Cameron Sexton told 105.7 News the park is huge for the city in having property available for new businesses, and the park has easy access to the interstate. The park is currently home to businesses such as Mountain Farm International, FedEx and Tennessee Ice Company.
