HAMLIN TAKEN INTO CUSTODY ON FELONY DRUG CHARGES

A Cumberland County deputy pulled over a vehicle yesterday on Highway 127 South operated by 34-year-old Jamie Noel Hamlin of Crossville. The purposed was for alleged speeding and failing to maintain her lane of travel. Hamlin informed the officer she had an outstanding warrant in Van Buren County. A search of a backpack supposedly revealed multiple small bags of meth and heroin. She was apprehended for felony manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance, manufacture and delivery of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia.
