HANDGUN, PURSE STOLEN FROM VEHICLE IN RESTAURANT PARKING LOT

Thieves broke into a vehicle parked at the Crossville Cracker Barrel on Wednesday. The victim reported that the driver’s side door of his 2001 Dodge pickup truck had been broken and his wife’s purse and a .38 Smith and Wesson Handgun stolen. Loss and damage was approximately $1800. A video surveillance camera reveals a black man and woman pull a vehicle in next to the truck. Both then enter the store. The two then exit the building with the male suspect entering the victim’s truck on the driver’s side. Both suspects then drive away. The investigation is ongoing.
