HARD FREEZE SUNDAY NIGHT

A strong cold front moved across Tennessee late Saturday bringing strong wind and heavy rain . Some areas had winds of 40 to 50 miles per hour which blew down trees in many counties and caused several power outages. Now the cold air settles in for the remainder of the weekend. Sunday starts out around 32 degrees and only climbs to 42 for the high and then we drop to near 22° Sunday night with a hard freeze. Monday we are looking good with sunshine and temperatures back up around 50, Tuesday look for temperatures to be around 55. Wednesday and Thanksgiving look partly cloudy and a little cooler with highs in the mid-to-upper 40s. There were several tornado warnings in middle and West Tennessee on Saturday but the front weakend as it approached the plateau.
