The Harriman City Council will meet this evening at the City Municipal Complex.

The Council is expected to discuss and vote on a resolution authorizing the City to apply for a Fiscal Year 2019 Community Development Block Grant, and provide matching funds.

They’ll also entertain a bid for the purchase of trucks, and a library appointment.

The meeting starts at 6 Eastern Time and is open to the public.

The Kingston City Council will conduct its regular monthly work session this evening at City Hall. Items on the agenda for discussion include an ADA transition-plan proposal, purchase of a mini-excavator for the Public Works Department, and purchase of a generator for the Ladd Landing Pump Station. They’ll also discuss surplus city property, postponing opting out of pre-65 retiree benefits, abandonment of city-dedicated properties on Kingwood Street, and individually permitted beer and wine sales and consumption on city property.
