Although the report on a two-vehicle head-on crash in Rockwood at 12:30 Saturday afternoon is not finalized, the preliminary report states 67-year-old Steve Roberts of Rockwood had an apparent medical condition that caused him to black out, sending his northbound pickup across the median into the southbound lanes of Gateway Ave. near Dunn Street, where he struck a southbound vehicle driven by 30-year-old Robert G. Ross of Harriman. Roberts was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Ross was uninjured; charges are pending.
