HORSESHOE THROWN THROUGH CAR WINDOW ON OLD LANTANA ROAD IN CROSSVILLE
On April 10, 2026, Officer Colten Johns was dispatched to Old Lantana Road regarding a report of vehicle vandalism. Upon arrival, the victim stated that he had last seen his car undamaged the previous night (April 9, 2026) at approximately 11:30 PM. He discovered the damage around 8:30 AM the next morning.
The observed damage included a broken rear windshield and a shattered rear passenger window. The rear passenger window had been broken by a horseshoe thrown through it, while the rear windshield was broken by a piece of what appeared to be a cinderblock; both objects were found inside the vehicle’s passenger compartment and were not there prior to the incident.
Officer Grant contacted Detective Harthun, who responded to the scene to photograph the area and collect evidence.
