The Roane County Sheriff’s Office has released the name of the victim of the house fire yesterday on 116 Mainsail Road in Kingston. Lily Watson was an employee in the Roane County Trustee’s Office.

Watson’s body was found in the home after the blaze was extinguished Monday morning.

The call came in around 2:30 a.m. Several fire departments answered the call and were on the scene much of the morning. An investigation is ongoing, encompassing officials from the local agencies as well as investigators with the State Fire Marshal’s Office.
