An inmate in the Cumberland County jail this past Tuesday has been charged with assaulting another inmate. According to the incident report, a deputy reviewed a surveillance video of one of the men’s housing pods and reportedly saw 30-year-old Jamie Scott Davidson struck another inmate in the head with his fist. The injured inmate was taken to Cumberland Medical Center for treatment. Davidson was charged with assault.
