Joyce Deloris Bowlin Armes, age 80, of Wartburg, passed away Friday May 12, 2017. She is survived by her husband of 12 years: Lewallen “Allen” Armes of Wartburg; son and daughter-in-law: Steve and Amber Jacks of Kingston; daughters and a son-in-law: Devona and Jack Adkins of Wartburg and Judy Hall of Coalfield; ggrandchildren: Michelle Adkins and Michael Robert Adkins both of Wartburg, Stacey and Justin Sharp of Rocky Top, Jeremiah Jacks of Kingston, and Hayden and Jessica Jacks of Harriman; great-grandchildren: Cain Taylor, Ashleigh Waller, Eli, Jocelyn and Josiah Jacks; great-great granddaughter: Leilani Joyce Waller; sisters: Jolene Aytes of Lancing and Billie Rhea Osborne of Wartburg; several nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones, and one very special friend; Minnie Ann Armes of Wartburg. Visitation and singing will be held Sunday May 14, 2017 from 6 to 8 PM at Davis Funeral Home in Wartburg. Funeral services will be Monday May 15, 2017 at 2 PM in the chapel of Davis Funeral Home in Wartburg. Interment will follow in Potters Chapel Cemetery in Lancing. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her honor to Star of Hope Chapel, 165 Flat Fork Road, Wartburg, TN 37887.
