From the Kingston Police Department:

On 06/08/2025, at approximately 1550 hours, officers with the Kingston Police Department arrived at the Clothes Closet located at 125 S. Kentucky Street. Officers had been dispatched to the location in reference to a suspicious object that had been dropped off in the donation area.
Officers discovered a bottle with what appeared to be a blasting cap in it. The area was secured. Detectives from the Kingston Police Department, TBI Bomb and Arson and the Knox County Bomb Squad were notified and arrived shortly after.
The item was safely collected by the Knox County Bomb Squad and removed for disposal.
