KINGSTON YOUNG ADULT PART OF MAKE-A-WISH GROUP ATTENDING SUPER BOWL
A young adult from Roane County will fulfill his dream of attending the Super Bowl, thanks to the help of Make-A-Wish East Tennessee.
The organization will make history this Sunday when they send 20 wish kids to Las Vegas for the Super Bowl.
One of them is 19-year-old Samuel Long of Kingston.
He has always loved football, and going to the Super Bowl has always been a dream.
Samuel has been battling DiGeorge syndrome, which has led to a condition that has caused his heart to fail. Eventually, he will need a heart and double lung transplant.
After being told he could no longer play the sport, Samuel Long continued to be a fan of the game. His favorite team is the Pittsburg Stealers.
Samuel said he will root for the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl.
