LANCE INJURED IN ACCIDENT AFTER VEHICLE HITS UTILITY POLE

A single vehicle accident in Roane County yesterday afternoon resulted in one hurt. Troopers say a 2010 Lexus RX5 driven by 61-year-old Janet L. Lance of Rockwood was traveling west on Lower Road when she ran off the road and hit a utility pole. The impact snapped the pole sending the top portion crashing down onto the road. Lance was injured in the crash.
