A couple was arrested Thursday by Roane Deputies on animal cruelty charges. Both 50-year-old Jeff Scott Mast and 45-year-old Dawn Renee Mast were arrested at their Molyneux St. Home Thursday night around 9 PM. They were indicted by the Grand Jury on four counts of animal cruelty, first offense. The case stems from an incident investigation begun by Rockwood Police last November when officers were called to the home to check on the welfare of the animals. Details were not immediately released.
