Early this morning, Roane County deputies responded to a home on the 1500^th block of Sweetwater Road to a disturbance. According to the arrest report, a female told officers that Patrick Joel Grant of Philadelphia, Tennessee slapped a 21-month-old infant on her back for spilling milk on a couch. Shortly after, Grant allegedly grabbed a belt and assaulted a 7-year-old boy. While on the scene, dispatch notified officers that Grant was wanted on a warrant for domestic assault. Grant was charged with a second offense of domestic assault and transported to the Roane County jail.
