MAN LEAVES VICTIM BLOODIED AFTER ATTACK

Yesterday, deputies with the Roane County Sheriff’s Department responded to a residence on the 300th block of Allison Drive to a disturbance. According to the arrest report, officers arrived to find a male subject bleeding from his head and also suffering from a serious laceration on his forearm. The victim told deputies that 33-year-old Mark Ferguson, Jr. of Harriman reportedly stuck him over the head with a plate and later used a part of the busted plate to cut the victims arm. The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment. Ferguson was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and criminal trespassing since officers banned him from the home back in December.
