MAN ARRESTED ON DRUG CHARGES IN CEMETERY

A Roane County man is facing drug charges. Rockwood police recently responded to a report of a vehicle backed up to a wooded area at Oak Grove Cemetery where they found 32-year-old Matthew Thomas Driggers and a female juvenile. Police allegedly found a bag of meth, a glass pipe with meth residue in it and a black case containing syringes. Driggers was arrested and charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor, possession of drug paraphernalia and manufacture, delivery, and sale of a schedule II drug. The juvenile was released to her mother.
