MAN CHARGED WITH AGGRAVATED ANIMAL CRUELTY

Crossville Police had their hands full dealing with a male subject who had been charged with the death of a house pet. Officers were called to a Savannah Lane home Monday where they discovered a dead dog covered up by a tarp on the back porch. According to reports, 23-year-old Dylan Scott Case told police that he was homeless and had been staying with the family. During that time, he said that he had not been taking his medication and that he had been taking out his anger on the dog until he finally strangled the animal to death. Case was taken to the emergency room for evaluation where he became violent. He was finally subdued by officers and charged with felony aggravated animal cruelty, resisting arrest, and assault on an officer.
