An individual charged with the murder of a Cumberland County man appeared in criminal court today for arraignment. Officers say 47-year-old Billy Joe Wannyn of Spencer is charged with first-degree murder and aggravated robbery in the death of 71-year-old Albin Buechel. Buechel’s body was discovered at his home on Seagraves Road in Pleasant Hill in January of this year after reportedly sustaining several stab wounds. In court today, the judge set a new court date of April 16, 2018 in the case. Wannyn’s bond is $1.5 million dollars.
