MAN ESCAPES HO– USE FIRE IN OAK RIDGE
An Oak Ridge man was able to escape a house fire early Friday morning, but the home was destroyed. The fire was reported around 6:30 AM on Lindale Lane. A man was inside when the fire started, but he made it out. He was later taken to Methodist Medical Center for treatment of smoke inhalation. Crews worked for more than two and a half hours to control the flames, but officials determined the house was a total loss. The American Red Cross has been called in to help the resident.
