MANHUNT CONTINUES FOR FENTRESS COUNTY JAIL ESCAPEE

A manhunt continues for one of two jail escapees in Fentress County. Authorities took 22-year-old Casey Ridenour back into custody earlier this week and are still looking for 35-year-old Charles Kennedy.

Both escaped this past Monday and took a correctional officer’s car. The vehicle was recovered on Delk Street and the inmates fled on foot.

Kennedy was last seen in the area of Tinchtown Road outside of Jamestown wearing orange pants and white T-shirt. He is a Caucasian male standing 6’4″ and weighs 145 pounds. Kennedy has brown hair and eyes and possibly wearing glasses.

Should you see Kennedy, do not approach him. Call 911 immediately and report his position. A reward of up to $2,500 is being offered for information leading to his arrest.
