Cumberland County medics responded to a multi vehicle accident on Highway 70 North yesterday. Troopers say a 2006 Honda motorcycle controlled by 26-year-old Richard T. Hodgin of Crossville attempted to pass a 2006 Kawasaki operated by 46-year-old Greg Horn of Crossville and a vehicle driven by 73-year-old Henry Levelle of Pikeville. Hodgin came back into the lane seeing he could not go around in time and struck Horn. The impact sent Horn into a ditch. Hodgin then hit the automobile in the rear Levelle was in, ran off the road and hit a tree. Levelle was not hurt. Both Hodgin and Horn were taken to area hospitals for treatment. The accident report states charges are pending against the injured.
