METH ARREST MADE IN PARKING LOT OF SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Where is one of the last places a person would be arrested for meth? If you said in the parking lot of a sheriff’s department, you would be right. Such is the case for 30-year-old Matthew Steven Davies of Crossville. The vehicle he was in was stopped there by officers for expired tags. A K-9 officers alerted the deputy to possible drugs and a search supposedly revealed nearly 3 grams of meth. Davies was arrested and taken inside the jail.
