MISSING WOMAN FROM KENTUCKY ARRESTED FOR DUI IN CROSSVILLE

A vehicle hit and run in Crossville Sunday led to the arrest of a woman reported missing out of state. Officers went to Shoney’s to intercept a vehicle driven by 69-year-old Linda G. Morgan of Lexington, Kentucky. A witness reportedly observed Morgan’s automobile hit another in the parking lot of Walmart then go north on Highway 127. Morgan reportedly ran the red lights on the interstate overpass, drove off an embankment then came to a stop in the parking lot of Shoney’s. Morgan was charged with DUI and failing to report an accident. A check revealed she was reported missing in Kentucky. Morgan was taken to the Cumberland County Jail.
