MONTEREY MAN ARRESTED IN CROSSVILLE WITH OVER 70 GRAMS OF MARIJUANA
Yesterday, near midnight, Deputy Caleb Charles observed a Silver Honda traveling inbound on Northside Drive with a non-operational registration light. He conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and made contact with the driver, Jaden Koontz.
Koontz admitted to having marijuana in the vehicle and then handed the deputy a plastic bag containing 11 grams of Marijuana.
A further search of the vehicle yielded a black toolbox with two plastic bags containing marijuana weighing approximately 30 grams, and 31 grams, as well as a THC pen in the driver’s seat.
The driver said he was fronted the Marijuana and planned to sell it, and showed Deputy Charles the empty plastic baggies in the trunk he planned on packaging it with.
