More information has been released in connection with the arrest of a Midway High School student for allegedly threatening to “shoot up the school.” Roane County Sheriff Jack Stockton says that 18-year-old Houston Knight of Kingston was arrested after he allegedly posted the “false threat” online last Monday. An investigation has been proceeding with Knight being taken into custody on Thursday. According to Sheriff Stockton and District Attorney General Russell Johnson, Knight’s official court appearance will be a jail-only docket on Feb. 24.
