The Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating more incidents of rocks being thrown off overpasses on I-40 in Roane County. Troopers say the rocks were thrown Saturday night at mile marker 362 (Industrial Park Road bridge). Two vehicles were damaged.

Fifteen vehicles were damaged last month by rocks thrown from overpasses in the county. Miraculously, no one was hurt in any of the incidents.

Law enforcement is asking motorists to be extra cautious around the overpasses in Roane County. If you see anyone acting suspicious on the bridges over the interstate, call 911.
