A Crossville man died in a motorcycle accident Saturday while riding along Highway 70 in Cumberland County. The Tennessee Highway Patrol says that 51-year-old Michael J. Morgan was traveling east on a 1980 Suzuki 850 when he failed to negotiate a left turn, went off the right side of the roadway and struck a guardrail. The investigating trooper said that Morgan was thrown from the vehicle over the railing and struck a tree. The report says Morgan was dead on arrival to the scene. He was wearing a helmet.
