Medics and police responded to a motorcycle accident on North Main Street just south of I-40 in Crossville yesterday afternoon. A 2006 Honda VTX operated by 68-year-old Ronald K. Brewer of La Harpe, Illinois collided with another motorcycle handled by 63-year-old Charles R. Wear of Carthage, Illinois. Brewer was flown by helicopter to Vanderbilt Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries while Wear was transported to Cumberland Medical Center.
