MULTIPLE THEFTS REPORTED IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY
The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department has reported multiple thefts within the county this week. Yesterday, a Turner Road resident discovered her red, two-seater mud buggy missing from her yard. On Monday morning, a Hyder Loop resident reported a log splitter stolen from her property sometime overnight; the splitter was beside her outdoor wood stove, just out of view of her security camera.
Also on Monday, a Sugarbush Lane resident reported his 2017 Chevy Tahoe, a 16-foot trailer, a Kawasaki Teryx UTV 800 LE, a Colt AR-15, a Sig Sauer Legion and ammunition, a car seat and a diaper bag stolen from outside his home. Total value of the stolen items was placed at over $72,600. The Tahoe was later discovered, burned, on the Hebbertsburg Road side of Big Rock. None of the other stolen property has been recovered.
