The Tennessee Highway Patrol released its report this afternoon of a motorcycle versus a tractor-trailer accident that took place yesterday (Tuesday, September 19, 2017) in Cumberland County. Troopers say a 1998 International tractor-trailer driven by 37-year-old Don Phillip Wood of Crossville was attempting to turn into a store parking lot at the corner of Highway 70 East and Market Street in Crab Orchard when a 2017 Harley Davidson motorcycle operated by 64-year-old Raymond Beliles of Madisonville attempted to pass him and struck the rig. Beliles and a passenger on the motorcycle, 57-year-old Joanne Beliles, were both flown to Erlanger Medical Center on separate medical helicopters for treatment of severe injuries sustained. Wood was not injured in the accident.
