The National Drug Take Back Day is this Saturday, April 27, 2024, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Crossville Police will be set up at Walmart, Fairfield Glade Police at Food City on Peavine Road, and the sheriff’s office will accept unused or unwanted prescription pills at the Justice Center.

Last year, the April and October Drug Take Back Days resulted in 1,264,000 pounds of medications being safely disposed of nationally and no longer a danger for misuse or abuse, whether accidental or intentional.
