NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE: “AT LEAST” 7 TORNADOES HIT TENNESSEE, ONE POSSIBLE IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY
The National Weather Service said this morning “at least” 7 tornadoes struck Tennessee in the early morning hours of Tuesday, March 3, 2020. Weather officials ay three of them struck Putnam County. Here are the ones confirmed:
Nashville into Wilson County EF-3 (165mph), traveled 60.13 miles, killed total of 3 and injured over 100
Smith/Putnam EF-0 (75mph), traveled 5.88 miles
Cookeville EF-4 (175mph), traveled 8.21 miles, killed 18 and injured nearly 90
Cookeville/Goffton EF-0 (75mph) 0.23 miles
Benton County: EF-2 (125 mph), traveled 6 miles, killed 1
Carroll County: EF-2
Morgan County: EF-0
