A survey team with the National Weather Service confirmed today that an EF-1 tornado hit Warren County late yesterday afternoon. The tornado touched down just south of McMinnville and destroyed a mobile home. One person was injured as a result. The tornado was part of a severe weather outbreak that took place yesterday. Weather officials say the months of April and May are prime months for the development of severe storms and tornadoes as the seasons change from winter to spring.
