NATURAL RESOURCE CONSERVATION SERVICE TEAM TO INSPECT DAMAGE AT RIVERFRONT PARK IN HARRIMAN

A team from the Natural Resource Conservation Service is expected to be in Harriman today (Tuesday, February 18, 2020) to inspect damage from a flood last week that caused significant damage to Riverfront Park. Officials say with the Emory River level still high next to the park and the water flow fast, the park will likely be closed for a while. The city is hoping federal funding may be available from the Emergency Watershed Protection Program to help repair damage at the park.
