NEW UNEMPLOYMENT PERCENTAGES RELEASED FOR AREA
Unemployment dropped in more than one-third of Tennessee’s 95 counties in November, according to data released today from the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development. Rates decreased in 38 counties, remained the same in 24 counties, and unemployment increased in 33 counties. In the immediate area, Cumberland County went up to 4.2 percent, Roane stayed at 3.5, Morgan rose to 3.5, Rhea County is up to 4.7, Pickett County is 4.2, Fentress is 4.1 and Bledsoe County went up to 5 percent unemployed.
