OLIVER SPRINGS CITY COUNCIL CHOOSES NEW WARD 3 REPRESENTATIVE
Oliver Springs has a new city council member. Members voted unanimously to appoint Kenneth Brown to the soon vacant Ward 3 position. The current holder of the seat, Omer Cox, did not run for re-election but agreed to stay on until after the first of the year. Brown, whose father served on the Board of Alderman for the city several years ago, will be sworn in at the Jan. 19 meeting.
