A Roane County facility for teens in trouble with the courts that has been the site of several incidents has been sold. Officials with Omni Vision confirmed the sale of the Roane Academy to Youth Opportunity in Carmel, Indiana however did not disclose why Omni Vision sold it. The Roane Academy has been in the news numerous times over the course of the past few years including teen disturbances at the facility involving law enforcement, teens running away from the facility, leadership changes and at least one lawsuit filed against Omni Vision.
