PETITION STARTED CALLING FOR TRAFFIC LIGHT AT DANGEROUS SCHOOL ZONE IN CUMBERLAND CO.
A petition is underway calling for an officer controlled traffic light in front of North Cumberland Elementary School in Cumberland County. Student Resource Officer Scott Iles has been hit twice by different vehicles in the school zone while directing traffic in the past year. County Commissioner Mark Baldwin started the petition that will be presented to TDOT later this month for their consideration of installing the traffic light.
