POLICE FILE DRUG, WEAPONS CHARGES AGAINST CROSSVILLE WOMAN

Sunday afternoon, Crossville police encountered 38-year-old Shelly Marie Shull of Crossville in the Walmart parking lot. After she stated she had weapons in the vehicle, police learned she was the subject of an active order of protection. When getting out of her vehicle, she tried to conceal a pipe beneath her dog. A search of the vehicle turned up an oxycodone pill, a .22-caliber Ruger revolver and a .380-caliber Kimber Micro Raptor handgun, along with the narcotics pipe. Shull had been served the order of protection on January 10, making it illegal for her to possess a weapon. She was arrested for possession of a Schedule II narcotic, possession of drug paraphernalia and illegal possession of weapons.
