POLICE SEARCH FOR BRAZEN BURGLAR STEALING FROM ROOMS AT SENIOR CARE FACILITIES

Franklin Police are hoping the public can help identify a brazen burglar who has been talking her way into rooms at a senior care facilities and stealing from residents.
Prescription drugs, cash and credit cards were stolen from four victims at two senior homes. One of the stolen credit cards was used shortly after the burglary to buy a flat screen at the Nashville Walmart along Nolensville Road.

Police said on Monday, the woman disguised herself and knocked on several doors. If a resident answered, she pretended to be an employee and talked her way into the room. One of the victims even woke up to the suspect next to her bed, police said.

Anyone with information in this case should call Crime Stoppers at 615-794-4000. Anonymous tips are worth up to $1,000 cash.
