PROSECUTION RESTS IN HOLLY BOBO CASE
Monday, the prosecution rested its’ presentation in the Holly Bobo murder trial against accused kidnapper/murderer Zach Adams. A man who had been suspected by the TBI of kidnapping and killing Bobo initially, Terry Britt, was called to give testimony. Britt, who is a convicted sex offender serving time for another such crime, flatly denied that he had anything to do with Bobo, even though the TBI claimed that Britt knew the area where evidence was found. This served as a basis for the defense to present Britt as their chief suspect. According to reports, even Bobo’s mother Cindy believes that Britt is responsible for her daughter’s murder. Prosecutors also called one of Adam’s best friends to testify. Jamie Darnell stated on the stand that while he was high on drugs, Adams spoke bad things about Bobo and confessed to the crimes. The defense was ready to begin presenting its’ case in the afternoon.
