PRUETT ARRESTED FOR METH POSSESSION IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY
While on patrol Wednesday, a Cumberland County deputy noticed a vehicle partially parked on Eureka Drive.
The officer stopped and asked the passenger, 57-year-old Gerald Robert Pruett of Crab Orchard, why he was blocking the roadway.
The report states Pruett was digging into the front pocket of his jeans several times.
The deputy asked him if he had any weapons on him. The suspect told the officer he had a pocket knife.
Pruett emptied the contents of his pockets onto the hood of the sheriff’s office patrol cruiser.
The suspect allegedly attempted to hide a small plastic bag containing meth in his hand while emptying his pockets.
Pruett was arrested for the manufacture, sale, and delivery of meth.
The driver of the vehicle, Jacqueline Fox, was charged with driving on a suspended license.
