A Putnam County man is facing four counts of statutory rape and one count of sexual exploitation of a minor after being indicted by a grand jury. Officers took 19-year-old Brian Michael Carlton of Cookeville into custody yesterday (Monday, June 12, 2017) and transported him to the Putnam County jail. Court documents indicate the alleged incident took place in August 2016. The age of the victim was not revealed.
