Rev. William J. (Bill) Moore, age 85, of Harriman, passed away Saturday June 16, 2018. A minister for over 60 years, he was the pastor of Riverview Baptist Church in Harriman where he has served for 43 years. Moore was the former pastor of Midway Baptist Church in Sunbright, and former member of Williams Chapel Baptist Church and Lakeview Baptist Church. He was formerly employed at Tenglade and Watts Bar Nuclear Plant. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. He is survived by his wife of 62 years: Beulah Lee Ezell Moore of Harriman; and son and daughter-in-law: James and Teresa Moore of Windsor, South Carolina. Funeral service will be at 7 p.m. Monday June 18, 2018 in the Kyker Funeral Chapel in Kingston. Burial will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Piney Grove Cemetery with Military Honors by the Roane County Military Memorial Honor Guard. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7p.m. Monday at the Kyker Funeral Home in Kingston.
