RHEA COUNTY DEPUTIES ARREST BURGLARY SUSPECT

Following an investigation by the Rhea County Sheriff’s Office, Michael Jordan Frazier was arrested on May 27, 2026, after being located at a local hotel. His arrest stems from two recent commercial burglaries in the area, the first occurring on May 11, 2026, at the Rocky Food Mart in Dayton, where security footage captured a male suspect breaking a window, emptying the cash register, and stealing two packs of cigarettes.

A similar incident took place on May 26th at the Pine Grove Market in Spring City, where a male suspect was seen breaking a window and squeezing past rebar to empty the cash register. Frazier, who was identified as a person of interest in the crimes, now faces multiple charges, including two counts each of burglary breaking and entering, standard burglary, theft of property less than $1,000, and vandalism, alongside charges for stolen property offenses and destruction, damage, or vandalism of property.
