As part of the ongoing SR-101/Peavine Rd. widening project, a section of Dartmoor Drive will be closed between Peavine Road and Wilshire Heights Drive, beginning today, January 7, 2019. During the closure two gas lines will be installed across Dartmoor Drive. The anticipated duration of the closure will be one week. However, the closure may need to be extended, depending on the difficulty of extracting the rock anticipated to be encountered during excavation.

Traffic will be detoured around the closure. Drivers needing access to Dartmoor from Peavine will be directed to Stonehenge Road then to Wilshire Heights and back onto Dartmoor. Access to Peavine will be via Wilshire Heights onto Stonehenge and back onto Peavine.

Two message boards along Peavine Road will alert drivers to the closure. One will be placed near the Lake Shore Terrace condominiums; the other will be placed near the Eye Center at Fairfield Blvd.

The entire project is slated for completion in November 2020.
