Here is a list of roads that have water over them in Cumberland County (as of 3:40 p.m. central, Thursday, September 27, 2018):

Genesis Road at Fred Ford Road and Poplar Drive – The road is flooded and has standing water covering road.

Browntown Road – ditches filled and covering road/washing out driveways

Highway 127 North in the area of Tabor Loop

Shadberry Road – low spot is flooded

West Avenue – at old Kats Car Wash

Creston Road – by drag strip

Forest Drive @ Obed River Road intersection

Lincolnshire Road – a part of this road is flooded

Spruce Loop – sections of this road is flooded

Crews are out and will deploy barrels to close off roads that are totally impassable.

THE GOOD NEWS….

The back edge of the rain is in White County now. About another hour or two the rain will stop. However, the water levels will have to crest first before starting to drop. If you do not have to travel tonight, stay home and allow the flood waters to drop.
