A Roane County grand jury this week indicted two suspects in different cases. The first involves 20-year-old Hayden Rusinek of Harriman. He was taken into custody Wednesday for rape. Court documents indicated the alleged crime took place last month.

The second is 42-year-old Michael Jefferson Vickers, Jr. of Kingston who was arrested this morning on two counts of rape. The indictment states the acts happened in July 2019 involving the same victim.

Both are scheduled to be arraigned in Roane County Criminal Court February 22, 2021.
