A tense few moments between a suspect and a Rockwood police officer ended with an arrest. Authorities recently responded to the parking lot of Walmart for suspected drug activity. Two subjects jumped out of one vehicle when officers arrived and fled the scene while 20-year-old Narada D. Saffell of Knoxville remained. Saffell reportedly reached toward his back and the officer drew his firearm and got Saffell out of the vehicle. A gun was recovered off of Saffell that came back stolen out of Greeneville. Officers charged him with manufacture, sale and delivery of a Schedule IV drug, theft, resisting arrest, and the unlawful possession of a firearm.
